Staff and Guest Card Power Control System
Fox Domotics has developed an advanced Staff and Guest Card Power Control System to deliver complete energy savings while giving hoteliers flexibility to configure rooms as AC or non-AC rooms with ease.
At the heart of this system is the Failsafe Controller with Dual Relays, which provides uninterrupted control and
protection for essential room operations:
- Relay 1: Controls lighting circuits, sockets, and other essential loads
- Relay 2: Controls air-conditioning units and televisions

How the System Works
The system uses a Mifare High-Frequency (13.56 MHz) RFID Keycard Holder with an integrated reader circuit that identifies whether the inserted card is a Guest Card or Staff Card:
- Guest Card: Activates both relays, granting full access to lights, sockets, AC units, and TV.
- Staff Card: Activates only Relay 1, allowing staff to operate lights and sockets for cleaning or maintenance, while restricting access to AC and TV to save energy.
